“It’s challenging to describe what Zazie does: it’s incredibly deep and almost beyond words. She was able to take me deep into the trauma in my womb, but also the energy and strength there. It connected me deeply to the power and essence of what it means to be female: the fertile, living, dying, birthing, vibrant, creative force of that in all it’s messy glory.

Do not underestimate the fiery, lioness strength that she possesses. She was able to effortlessly hold me through strong emotions and deep cathartic release.

I trust her completely. It was a privilege to have her facilitate healing for me.”

“Throughout my life I have struggled to directly access (let alone express) extreme feelings of sadness and anger. As a boy I internalised a version of stoic masculinity that meant I was required to suppress these emotions whenever they arose. At 35, while I knew intellectually this was untrue and unhelpful, I couldn't seem to override my ingrained fears and behaviours. I was very much trapped in the relative safety of my 'mind', almost totally disconnected from the deep traumas held within my body.

I had never cried in the company of others - from a combination of shame and fear of being rejected. After my initial session with Zazie I put what I had learned into practice... several days later I broke down weeping in the arms of my partner. I was able to express years of emotional though my body in a way I had never been able to before! The world didn't fall apart, in fact the next day I woke with a new sense of clarity within myself, and a deepened connection to my partner who expressed profound respect for my being able to show my vulnerability.

Shaking is now part of my regular morning practice and I am grateful beyond words for this gift! Thank you Zazie :-)”

“Being here reaffirmed my love of being with women in circle in the way that Mark Darcy in Bridget Jones describes; ‘Just as we are’. In all our unique but similar raw authentic messy humanity.

I have never experienced such consistent and ever present gentleness in leadership. It was truly inspirational and was so precious to me after having experienced a lifetime of shame and abuse, my body in such a frozen rigid fearful place.

The strength which was palpable behind that leadership meant that I felt totally safe and it helped me to drop into parts of myself that I was so scared to meet.

By metaphorically holding my hand as I breathed life and movement back into deadened places and by being my witness she taught me that all of it is ok, even those parts I considered most unacceptable. I feel that she genuinely does love me ‘just as I am’.

This love, grace and courage which she brings to her work means that magic really does visit the space that she holds.

So much gratitude.”

“Zazie holds an impeccable space with such sensitivity and skill that I felt safe to drop into the deepest space of vulnerability I've been capable of feeling. From this space I emerged with life changing gifts, what she teaches is guided by spirit and it resonates so deeply as a much needed truth.

I haven't seen this available anywhere else - it is so natural and intuitive and yet in my society we are almost totally cut off from it. It's our natural way of healing ourselves, and it feels like a remembrance or a coming home to what is our birthright. I feel so inspired by what I've experienced in these few days on retreat, and I am certain that it's a turning point in my life.

My feeling is that all women should have this knowledge. If it it resonates for you to feel safe in your body, to feel in touch with your body in a deeper and more healing way, to be in a beautiful sacred relationship with it and all of its many emotions, and to be free to express in an authentic, heart and body centred way, then I can't recommend it enough.”

“Do not underestimate this work that Zazie is bringing. It comes from a profound well of ancient wisdom integrated with the medicine of the body's innate healing potential.

I came with a curiosity to explore what I might receive. Through a divinely held process I found a treasure within, a sacred key. Along with a precious community of women also committed to a path of becoming whole.”

“Zazie holds such a profoundly safe space and creates an incredible container for women to be able to unfold within. It’s such a strong, gentle space with utter precision and direction to enable you to fully let go and be held.

The sessions are gradually built layer by layer so you really feel guided and supported to work at your own pace and in your own way. The spaciousness of the sessions and the flow really feed the feminine energetics, and the strong masculine container is so conducive to this.

I have been able to feel energy move through my body like never before. I have watched my body communicate in waves and ways that I could never have imagined, and speak a language that no words could describe. I could feel the lineage of where this work came from really being imbibed by myself and the group and the sacredness of it all was deeply ceremonious.”

“This retreat was so healing for me, although I am reluctant to use that word because this felt like so much more than that... expansion/life/love/new everything.

My love for who I am has expanded so much, and there is now (one week later) a huge strength in my heart and my chest, and a force of something powerful running through my whole body. A real sense of my inner power. I feel more connected, as if I am finally embodied… a feeling of having edges, being solid, rather than diffuse and ethereal. A feeling of being more here than I have ever been.”

“Zazie provides something that I could not access at other retreats.

I want all my friends and all women to experience this. The quality of my voice has changed. I'm leaving the retreat with many tools to express myself in my new body, and many new friends.”

“Thank you so much for a crazy week. It was hard to know what to expect when coming on this retreat. First of all I was drawn by knowing you and trusting that the work you do is probably the work I need.

I have come to a point in life where I see no benefit in being the 'nice' girl anymore, people-pleasing and letting others overstep my boundaries. It was becoming more and more apparent in my life that I needed to change that as I could feel the grip of anger within me. Reading the descriptions of the retreat I was very resistant but knew I had to come.

I am so grateful for following that pull. There is no way to describe what you do but all I can say is that I feel it is what most women need. To feel free to step into a place of power without guilt or shame is such a rare thing to see. Thank you for giving me permission!”

“Zazie is the most incredible spaceholder. I went into her retreat not really knowing what somatic medicine meant or having had any experience of the movement work she teaches.

It is accurate to say that I was completely blown away, and left feeling so much more whole and more 'myself'. Such a gifted wise facilitator sharing such precious gifts that resonated with each and every one of us.”
